By the Core Dhampirs are the   half-living children of vampires birthed by human females, dhampirs are progenies of both horror and tragedy. The circumstances of a dhampir’s conception are often called into question but scarcely understood, as few mortal mothers survive the childbirth. Those who do often abandon their monstrous children and refuse to speak of the matter. While some speculate that dhampirs result when mortal women couple with vampires, others claim that they form when a pregnant woman suffers a vampire bite. Some particularly zealous scholars even contest dhampirs’ status as a unique race, instead viewing them as humans suffering from an unholy affliction. As designed in the Advanced Race Guide, Dhampir are an 11 RP race. A is for Aasimar

Aasimar are a relatively new race to the Patchwork Lands of Porphyra. They are a byproduct of the NewGod War and the Calling. Until these events there simply no gods on Porphyra and the celestial powers that mingle their essence with the mortal races took little interest in the land and its people. Purple Duck Note: As designed in the Advanced Race Guide, Aasimar are designated as 15 RP race meaning that they would fall within the advanced power level. In an effort to keep all playable races standard I've made the following changes. Porphyran Aasimar Racial Characteristics (Draft) +2 Wisdom, +2 Charisma, -2 Intelligence:  Aasimars are insightful, confident, and personable. They see less value in book learning than other races. Native Outsider:  Aasimars are outsiders with the native subtype. Medium:  Aasimars are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size. Review: Help Me Fly for iPhone and iPad

Help Me Fly by Funtomic is a casual puzzle game whose difficulty level pleasantly surprised me. The primary goal of the game is to rearrange the position of the red pieces, forming a continuous path from the battery to the plane. The secondary goal is to also connect the path to the stars (the number of stars changes from puzzle to puzzle). When you solve a puzzle, you get a nice animation of the plane flying away in circles. Normally the pieces can only be dragged around; the pieces with an arrow on them can also be rotated. Finding a route to the plane is easy enough, but also connecting all the stars required me several attempts in many cases. The solutions are elusive, possibly also for psychological reasons. For example in the puzzle pictured above, laying down a path to either the star or the plane is trivial, but to connect both of them you always seem to be one cell short, until you figure out that you are approaching the puzzle from the wrong direction.
